Meagan Froemming is an associate in the Real Estate Group in the Los Angeles office. She represents clients in secured and unsecured transactions for the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial real estate assets.
Ms. Froemming received her B.A. from Wellesley College, her M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University, and her J.D. from New York University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Froemming was a staff editor of the Annual Survey of American Law.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Froemming was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Law School’s Islamic Legal Studies Program where her research focused on modern Islamic finance practice. Ms. Froemming also spent a year in Afghanistan working with a German NGO to implement a large-scale humanitarian services project in villages across the country. Her work in Afghanistan was premised on connecting value-chain development initiatives and direct microfinance lending schemes to improvements in community health and sanitation.
Ms. Froemming is proficient in Arabic, French, and Hebrew.
