Megan defends clients in the food and beverage, airline, and financial industries against consumer class action lawsuits based on false advertising claims. She also litigates complex commercial cases.

Megan’s matters include representing:

  • A food and beverage manufacturer and several subsidiaries in class actions related to labeling and advertising;
  • A global investment bank and its affiliates in multidistrict litigation of putative nationwide antitrust class actions;
  • A restaurant chain in federal Lanham Act trademark and false advertising litigation;
  • A national retail company in a class action alleging that the company used deceptive advertising during sales from store closures; and
  • Financial institutions in multiple consumer protection class actions.

Before joining the firm, Megan was an associate at an international law firm. She also externed with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and was a fellow at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Capital Habeas Unit.

Megan actively participates in her local legal community. A member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, she chairs the Diversity in the Profession Section and belongs to the President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession. She is also a board member of nonprofit organizations RaiseAChild® and Dynasty’s United Youth Association.

Megan received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and graduated cum laude. While pursuing her J.D., Megan was a production editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and a member of the Thomas More Honor Society.
