Melissa Perez is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office.

Ms. Perez graduated from University of California Berkeley School of Law. Before law school, Ms. Perez was a PBHA Postgraduate Fellow at the Public Law Center in Santa Ana, CA where she drafted petitions for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, U Visas, U Visa Adjustments of Status, and Naturalization that were submitted to the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services.

She received a B.A., in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality from Harvard University. While at Harvard, she was a co-director and member of Harvard College Act on a Dream, a group that worked with the Harvard Office of Community Affairs to lobby for the DREAM Act in congress.

Ms. Perez is fluent in Spanish.
