Michelle Yocum is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Group, focusing her practice on intellectual property matters.
Ms. Yocum has represented clients in patent litigation, Hatch-Waxman litigation, and inter partes review proceedings. She has assisted with pleadings, motions practice, fact and expert discovery, deposition preparation and examination, as well as conducting due diligence in support of litigation and pre-litigation investigations, including review of patent file histories, assignments, and prior art.
Ms. Yocum earned her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, and her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. Following law school, Ms. Yocum clerked for Judge Raymond C. Clevenger of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
