Mikaela Ediger is an associate in the litigation department of Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office.
Mikaela has worked on a variety of cross-border matters including trade secret and patent disputes in U.S. courts, commercial arbitrations, licensing negotiations, and investigations. She maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on immigration and human rights.
Mikaela received her J.D. cum laude from New York University School of Law. At NYU, she served as Notes Editor on the N.Y.U. Law Review and a Scholar at the Institute of International Law and Justice. She holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Cambridge and an M.A. in International Relations from Waseda University.
In 2017, Mikaela was invited to present her research on the Tokyo war crimes trials before Princess Takamado of the Japanese imperial family. Her work has been published in the N.Y.U. Law Review and N.Y.U Journal of International Law and Policy.
