Moritz Heuser is a senior associate at Morrison & Foerster’s German office in Berlin and a member of our Corporate Department. His practice focuses on German and cross-border M&A transactions and general corporate matters, with an emphasis on stock corporation law.

Mr. Heuser studied law and economics at the universities of Bonn and Milan. Before joining Morrison & Foerster, he served as a trainee and as an associate with major international law firms in Cologne and Berlin.

Mr. Heuser publishes in the field of stock corporation law and capital markets law.

  • Advised DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG on the formation of a Joint Venture (MyTicket AG) with Axel Springer und ProSiebenSat.1.
  • Advised satellite imaging start-up Planet Labs Inc. on the acquisition of BlackBridge Group.
  • Advised Schmolz + Bickenbach GmbH & Co. KG on the sale of its shares in SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH AG (Switzerland).
  • Advised Yahoo! on the acquisition of a German media tech company.
  • Advised Senator Entertainment AG on its restructuring (recapitalization, debt-equity swap) and on the acquisition of Wild Bunch S.A. (Paris) by way of a stock-for-stock acquisition.
  • Advised Fujitsu Semiconductor on the spin-off of its European semiconductor business unit (SoC) and the joint venture set-up with Panasonic (Socionext).
  • Advised REN Invest on its investment in Auctionata AG.
  • Advised music publisher Montana on the sale of its music catalogue to BMG.
