Nick De La Cruz is an associate in the firm’s Finance & Projects Practice Group.

Mr. De La Cruz assists clients with drafting and negotiating revolving and
non-revolving credit agreements, note purchase agreements, letters of credit, reimbursement agreements, covenant agreements, and disclosure documents. He also conducts due diligence on borrower organizational documents and security documentation.

His experience includes advising foreign and domestic credit providers in municipal, health care, and not-for-profit financings.

During law school, Mr. De La Cruz worked for two Fortune 500 legal departments and completed an internship with the Federal Defender for the Northern District of Iowa. After graduation, Mr. De La Cruz also completed a PILI Fellowship with the Federal Defender Program in Chicago.

  • Represented financial institutions providing acquisition capital for a $250 million hospital merger.
  • Represented a domestic bank in a $500 million loan to the District of Columbia.
  • Represented domestic banks providing $120 million credit and liquidity support for a California hospital’s bonds.
  • Represented a domestic bank providing $160 million in working capital for the construction of Transbay Terminal.
  • Represented a foreign bank providing a taxable and tax-exempt secured credit facility for a California waste services provider.
  • Represented domestic institutional investors in a $300 million private placement of an Australian issuer’s notes.
  • Represented a domestic bank providing a $20 million working capital line of credit to a California hospital.
