Nicholas DeCoster is a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group.
Mr. DeCoster’s practice focuses on a range of technology, intellectual property, entertainment, and media transactional matters, including M&A and investment transactions, license agreements, content development agreements, outsourcing agreements, production agreeements, general commercial agreements, and data privacy and security issues.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. DeCoster was an associate in the technology and intellectual property transactions group of another major law firm, where he drafted transaction and commercial agreements and counseled clients on various intellectual property, media, and technology-related matters.
Mr. DeCoster earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a contributing editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review and counseled young entrepreneurs as a student attorney for the University of Michigan Law School Entrepreneurship Clinic. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in journalism from the University of Missouri.
