Nikita A. Tuckett is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group. Her practice focuses on providing advice and strategic counselling on intellectual property, technology and media-related issues arising from a variety of corporate transactions, including assisting technology companies, financial institutions, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and private equity and other investors in connection with acquisitions/divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, development and collaboration arrangements and in the negotiation of strategic commercial and licensing agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Tuckett worked as an associate in the Intellectual Property and Technology Group at a major New York City law firm. Ms. Tuckett also previously worked as Associate (Clerk) to the Honorable Justice John H. Byrne SJA AO in the Supreme Court of Queensland and in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Department of Allens in Brisbane, Australia.

Ms. Tuckett completed her dual Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of Queensland, Australia, graduating in 2011 with First Class Honors in Law.  She also completed the Bachelor of Civil Laws at Oxford University in 2013, attaining a Distinction and the Faculty of Law Prize for the highest achievement in Intellectual Property Law.  Ms. Tuckett is admitted as a solicitor in Australia and as a member of the California and New York State Bars.
