Nishita advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and general corporate advisory matters. She has acted for both private and public companies across a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, consumer, telecommunications, and energy and infrastructure.

Nishita was awarded her B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University in 2012 and, during this time, completed a student exchange programme at the National University of Singapore.

Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Nishita trained and practised in the London and Tokyo offices of an international law firm. During this time, she also spent one year seconded to the legal department of a major Japanese trading house at its headquarters in Tokyo and two months seconded to the legal department of a major bank in London.

Nishita is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and she is admitted to practice law in India.
