Oliver advises clients on both investment grade and leverage finance transactions. He advises lenders and borrowers in England and globally on commitment, financing, and ancillary documentation.

He has experience advising both private organisations and sovereigns on a wide range of transactions, including note issuances, securitization, and syndicated loans, both on an investment grade and high-yield basis.

Oliver studied Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford, before undertaking the Legal Practice Course at BPP University and training as a solicitor.

Before joining Morrison & Foerster, he trained as a solicitor at a global law firm in London, completing client secondments with both a major international investment bank and a global energy company, before finishing his training on an international secondment in the Middle East. Three of his training seats were in banking and finance, and he worked on the Debt Capital Markets team at his previous firm. He has experience advising clients on a wide range of finance, most recently including note issuances for both major European investment grade clients and a sovereign state.

Oliver is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
