Dr. Patrick Schneider focuses on patent drafting and prosecution with an emphasis on chemistry and chemical sciences.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Patrick was a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow at Yale University where he developed quantum chemical theories for the treatment of nuclear quantum effects in electronic structure calculations. He also computed various experimentally relevant properties of electrocatalytic organometallic species using computation packages in collaboration with experimental researchers.
He was also a physical science technician at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research where he performed research in the Functional Foods and the Crop Bio-Protection Research Units and investigated the chemistry of additives in frying oil using organic chemistry and analytical techniques.
Patrick received his Ph.D. in chemistry from Yale University and his B.S., summa cum laude, in chemistry and mathematics from Bradley University.Show More
