Paul L. Navarro

Paul Navarro is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Morrison Foerster and a member of the firm’s Emerging Companies + Venture Capital Group.

Paul works with founders, directors, and investors to strategize and execute high-value transactions. He regularly advises clients in the United States and Latin America and has substantial experience in equity and debt financings, general corporate governance, exit events, restructurings, and recapitalizations.

Paul is a trusted advisor to companies in a variety of industries, with particular focus on fintech, cybersecurity, cryptocurrency, blockchain, renewable energy, and entertainment. Everyday he’s motivated by the passion and dedication that his founder clients show in building their dreams one step at time, and is thankful for the opportunity to help founders turn their dreams into reality.

Paul is a native Spanish speaker whose cultural roots and time in Latin America have led to a life-long passion for the region. He is a counselor to many emerging companies across Latin America, especially in the fintech industry, and has helped them plan their corporate structure and navigate the capital raising process. Paul also works with U.S. investors focused on investing throughout Latin America.

He has an active pro bono practice and has helped establish and counsel non-profits, including organizations focused on addressing sexual harassment and creating allies in Silicon Valley, combating hate crimes, and counseling at-risk youth.

Paul also dedicates much of his free time to a high school wrestling team, helping young men and women achieve their athletic goals.

• Represented an entertainment virtual reality company regarding general corporate and IP issues, including SAFE and Series A financings.
• Represented a makeup company on IP issues and SAFE financing, as well as general corporate matters.
• Represented an international fashion company on corporate restructuring and other matters.
