Per specializes in advising on energy and infrastructure assets – from structuring, construction, project financing, and through to operation, including in relation to joint venture arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, and project restructuring and refinancing. While he has worked across a broad spectrum of energy and infrastructure sectors, he has particular experience in the renewable energy, LNG regasification, gas-to-power, petrochemicals, mining, telecommunication, and rail sectors.

Per has worked on market-leading energy and infrastructure projects across the globe, but predominantly in Asia, including projects located in Bangladesh, Japan, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

  • The project owners/borrower in the development, construction, and project financing of seven solar power plants located in Japan
  • The project financing of four solar power plants located in Japan
  • A solar developer in their development platform for renewables projects in Bangladesh
  • An investor in its acquisition of an equity interest in six solar and wind power projects under development in Mexico
  • The lender in relation to a solar PV power project in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam
  • A concessionaire in relation to the operation and maintenance of railway systems in the Philippines
  • An investor in relation to an LNG regasification terminal in the Philippines
  • The lenders in an LNG regasification terminal in Bangladesh
  • The lenders in relation to the financing of a combined cycle gas-fired power plant in Bangladesh, and (now cancelled) associated LNG regasification termination
  • A consortium in the development and project financing of a greenfield, high-capacity submarine fiber optic cable system in Asia
  • The ECAs in connection with the financing of an aromatics and petrochemicals complex in Pengerang, Malaysia
  • The lenders in connection with the refinancing of a transmission line and related substations in Cambodia
