Pieter S. de Ganon is a litigation associate in the Palo Alto office. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property issues.
Mr. de Ganon graduated from the New York University School of Law, where he was a Furman Academic Scholar and served as an articles editor for the New York University Law Review. Before joining the firm, he clerked for Judge Leonard B. Sand of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and Judge John T. Noonan, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. de Ganon received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Columbia University. He obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University. Mr. de Ganon attended Tokyo University as a Japanese Ministry of Education Scholar and Kyoto University as a Fulbright Scholar.
Mr. de Ganon is admitted in New York and his practice is supervised by principals of firm admitted to the California bar. He speaks Japanese and Dutch.
