Ray Huang is an associate in the Patent Group in the firm’s Palo Alto office. His practice focuses on many aspects of patent prosecution, including preparation and prosecution of both U.S. and foreign patent applications, after-final proceedings, USPTO examiner interviews, preparing pre-appeal and appeal briefs, reissues, and reexamination proceedings.

In addition to his prosecution practice, Mr. Huang also has experience in client counseling, patent transfer and licensing agreements, patent invalidity and infringement opinions, freedom-to-operate analyses, patentability analyses, technical discovery and production, Markman briefs, prelitigation investigations, and pretrial motions in U.S. federal district courts.

Mr. Huang has significant experience in a wide spectrum of electrical technologies, computer hardware and software, medical devices and systems, and materials. His experience includes intelligent voice-enabled personal assistants, vehicular automation, virtualization technologies, mobile devices and applications, voice recognition, digital media players, data searching and aggregation systems, network gaming, integrated circuits and systems, power electronics, telecommunication devices and networks, radio-frequency technologies, VoIP systems, sensors, Internet applications, semiconductor devices and manufacturing processes, solar technologies, medical and mechanical devices, and LED materials and circuits.

Mr. Huang is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia, and is registered to practice before the USPTO.
