Rika Saeki is of counsel in the Tokyo Business Department. Ms. Saeki’s practice focuses on the representation of clients in a wide range of cross-border business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other commercial transactions. Ms. Saeki also has experience in assisting clients on commercial disputes and sensitive internal investigations in Japan.

Ms. Saeki received her B.A. degree from Northwestern University in 1990 and her J.D. degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law in 1993. In 2003 she was seconded for six months to the legal department of a major Japanese IT conglomerate. Ms. Saeki is fluent in English and Japanese.
