His practice focuses on advising clients on all aspects of antitrust investigations, litigation, and compliance.
Rob regularly represents clients in a wide range of antitrust matters, including in criminal and civil investigations before state and federal antitrust regulators, and private antitrust litigation. He routinely provides advice on all aspects of antitrust compliance. His clients span a broad range of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology and software, financial services, manufacturing, and transportation and shipping.
In addition to antitrust matters, Rob has experience assisting clients facing exposure under the False Claims Act and federal securities laws, in addition to helping clients with complex commercial disputes. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with recent matters including criminal litigation, asylum applications, child custody claims, and landlord/tenant disputes.
Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Rob worked as an associate at a large international law firm, where he gained experience in securities and financial regulatory enforcement and financial services litigation. Prior to private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk for Chief District Judge Thomas Varlan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Rob earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2012, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law and Business Review. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 2009.
