Robert Argen’s practice focuses on strategic partnerships between banks and Fintech companies, commercial transactions and regulatory matters. He provides business-oriented advice to financial institutions, Fintech companies and early-stage technology ventures. He has significant experience negotiating Fintech, technology, software-as-a-service, market data and intellectual property agreements. He also has experience performing IP diligence for M&A deals across industries.

Robert has significant experience with commercial and IP disputes. He has represented clients through all stages of disputes in federal and state court, mediation and arbitration.

Robert graduated cum laude from Brooklyn Law School. During law school, he served as an editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and a fellow in the Block Center for International Business Law. He received his B.S. with honors from New York University Stern School of Business.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Robert was an associate at another leading international firm and served as in-house commercial and IP counsel for a global investment bank.
