Robert Famigletti is a Privacy Analyst in Morrison & Foerster’s top-ranked Privacy + Data Security Group, assisting cross-industry clients with multijurisdictional compliance projects related to the collection and use of personal data. Rob regularly authors client alerts regarding significant privacy developments, including on behalf of the Global Privacy Alliance, a coalition of international businesses that monitors privacy laws and practices worldwide. He also helps to maintain MoFo Notes, a subscription database that allows users to compare their privacy obligations by jurisdiction, and MoFo’s Privacy Library, a one-stop online resource linking visitors to privacy laws, regulations, and government authorities for more than 90 countries around the world.

Rob earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from American University, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Rob was named to the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board and the Tax Moot Court Team, was an editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession, and served as a Law Fellow to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse on the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism.
