Rose A. Zukin is an associate in the Corporate Finance practice. She is a former attorney from the Division of Corporation Finance at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Ms. Zukin’s practice is focused on counseling publicly-listed companies on securities regulation and corporate governance issues.
While at the SEC, Ms. Zukin provided guidance regarding the registration, disclosure, and other provisions of the federal securities laws and SEC rules and regulations. While serving as an attorney-advisor in the Health Care and Insurance Office of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance, she analyzed and reviewed periodic and transactional filings; provided comments and guidance to registrants on compliance with securities laws; processed confidential treatment requests; applied rule interpretations; and analyzed novel securities and offerings. While assigned to the Division’s Office of Enforcement Liaison, Ms. Zukin evaluated and analyzed tips, referrals and complaints, and drafted referrals to the SEC’s Division of Enforcement. She also served as examiner and reviewer on SEC’s Shareholder Proposal Task Force.
Ms. Zukin was a Judicial Clerk for the Senior Judges of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C.
