Ryan L. Waggoner is a corporate associate in the Tokyo office of Morrison & Foerster.

Mr. Waggoner’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions for U.S., Japanese and European clients. Mr. Waggoner also represents emerging growth companies in matters involving equity financings and general corporate issues, primarily in the life sciences and technology industries.

Mr. Waggoner earned his J.D. and a Certificate in International Trade and Development from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial extern for Judge Edmund A. Sargus, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Waggoner received his M.A. in East Asian Studies with a specialization in Japanese law and his B.A. in history and Japanese from The Ohio State University.

Mr. Waggoner is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
