Sebastian Chan practices in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster as a member of the firm’s Financial Transactions Group, where he represents clients in a wide range of commercial finance transactions. Mr. Chan advises banks and other institutional lenders, funds, and other credit providers in connection with both secured and unsecured financial transactions. He also represents a variety of borrowers in structuring, documenting, and administering debt and equity financings. Mr. Chan has experience representing corporations, private equity funds and their portfolio companies in leveraged finance, structured finance, and securitization transactions. He also has general corporate experience in mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and high-yield securities offerings.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Chan was an associate with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. He has prior experience as an executive in the airline industry.

Mr. Chan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.
