Dr. Seth Newman provides patent procurement guidance to companies working at the cutting edge of advanced technologies.
For the last decade, Seth has helped clients obtain high-quality patents for the most complex technologies. Some example technologies that he has worked on include computer vision, natural language processing, blockchain, quantum computing, nuclear power systems, financial services, space-based communications, satellite imaging, software products, and database management. He has also lent his technical expertise to patent litigation matters and post-grant proceedings.
Seth is passionate about developing each client’s portfolio from a strategic perspective, using analytics to improve an application’s chances of receiving favorable examination. The end result is a valuable asset for the client with minimal latency.
Seth received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of South Carolina. His graduate work related to the development of a C++ trigger algorithm to differentiate noise from rare dark matter events and the analysis of that data using proprietary algorithms to provide new bounds for certain rare cosmological events. Seth earned his B.Sc. in physics from the State University of New York at Binghamton.Show More
