Shelby Teeter is an associate in the Litigation Department in Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on investigations, white-collar defense, and antitrust matters. In addition, Shelby maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ and women’s rights. Prior to joining the firm, she was a judicial intern for the Hon. Virginia Covington in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Shelby earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was executive editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation and a Coker Fellow in Criminal Law. Shelby received her Bachelor of Public Administration from Florida International University as a Presidential Merit Scholar and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
