Sherry William is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster and a part of the firm's Finance & Projects Group. Ms. William has experience representing developers, lenders, and investors in domestic and international project financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate financings.
Ms. William advises clients on the sale, acquisition, and financing of renewable energy projects. Before joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. William practiced in New York, representing financial institutions, borrowers, and government entities in domestic and cross-border project, structured, and leveraged finance transactions, including the IJ Global 2014 North American Mining and Metals Deal of the Year. Ms. William also spent a year as a law fellow at Greater Boston Legal Services representing clients in defensive and affirmative asylum claims and Violence Against Women Act and U-Visa petitions.
Ms. William is admitted to practice in California and New York, speaks fluent Arabic, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
