Mr. Kurahara is an associate of Ito & Mitomi. 

Mr. Kurahara represents both Japanese and non-Japanese corporations in a wide range of general corporate matters and commercial businesses. He focuses on dispute resolutions, including patent and other intellectual property litigations, responses to investigations by competition authorities and various disputes involving competition laws. He also provides advice on compliance matters, including internal investigations and preventive measures pertaining to corporate crises and misconducts.

Mr. Kurahara received his LL. M. from University of California, Los Angeles in 2017. He also received an LL.B. from Keio University Faculty of Law in 2007 and a J.D. from the University of Tokyo in 2009, and completed his training at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan in December 2010 (Shin-63rd trainee). Mr. Kurahara is a bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan as well as in New York, and is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association.
