Siena Anstis is a Litigation associate in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Anstis practiced civil litigation and refugee law in Toronto, Ontario, and served as a judicial clerk to Justice Thomas Cromwell of the Supreme Court of Canada and Justices David Watt, Sarah Pepall, and David Brown of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Ms. Anstis earned degrees in both common law and civil law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law. During law school, she interned with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in the Netherlands and the Cambodia League for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights in Phnom Penh. She also provided research support to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and the McGill Center for International Sustainable Development Law. She was awarded several merit-based scholarships, including in the fields of public international law and corporate and commercial law. Prior to law school, she received her B.A. in journalism and anthropology from Concordia University and worked as a freelance journalist in East Africa.
Ms. Anstis is fluent in French. She is admitted to practice in New York and in Ontario, Canada.
