Stephanie Ference is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster's New York office. Her practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters. She has assisted a broad array of U.S.-based and international companies as well as investment banks with transactions in the healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, technology and energy sectors and is a member of MoFo’s Blockchain + Smart Contracts Group.
Prior to law school, Ms. Ference was an officer in the United States Army; she is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and recipient of the Bronze Star. Ms. Ference received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served as a Submissions Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and participated in the Environmental Law Clinic and the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project (now the International Refugee Assistance Project).
She holds a B.A., cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, where she was named a Henry Rutgers Scholar in History.
