Stephanie Ference is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster's New York office. Her corporate and transactional practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters. She has assisted a broad array of U.S.-based and international clients with transactions in the healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, technology and energy sectors and is a member of MoFo’s Blockchain + Smart Contracts Group.
Ms. Ference received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she served as a Submissions Editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law and participated in the Environmental Law Clinic and the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project (now the International Refugee Assistance Project).
Prior to law school, Ms. Ference was an officer in the United States Army; she is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and recipient of the Bronze Star. She holds a B.A., cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, where she was named a Henry Rutgers Scholar in History.
