Steven J. Bleiberg is an associate in the Financial Transactions Group of the New York office of Morrison & Foerster, and a founding member of MoFo’s Blockchain/Smart Contracts Task Force. He represents financial institutions, public and private borrowers, and other corporate entities in a variety of finance transactions, with a particular focus on credit and securities transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

His work in the commodities trading area has involved structuring and documenting trading, hedging, financing, supply and offtake, storage, processing and tolling transactions. He also has experience with securities offerings by financial institutions, including investment grade securities and structured products linked to equities, commodities, interest rates and other underlying assets.

Mr. Bleiberg earned his J.D./M.B.A. from Columbia University, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Milbank Law & Economics Fellow and served on the Columbia Business Law Review. He received his B.A. in quantitative economics from Tufts University.
