Susannah Cupp’s practice covers a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including syndicated loans, construction loans, revolving credit facilities, mezzanine loans, subordinate loans and participation arrangements, and intercreditor and co-lender agreements.
Ms. Cupp’s practice also involves representing clients in purchase and sale transactions, joint venture arrangements, leasing arrangements, and advising clients in connection with disposition and development agreements and development projects. She represents both domestic and foreign banks and lending institutions, as well as property owners, in connection with the financing of office and mixed-use properties, multi-family projects, hotels and resorts, condominium projects, and retail/commercial centers. Ms. Cupp’s practice also involves representing national banks in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities to the homebuilding industry.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Cupp worked in municipal government and she has significant experience in local government policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ms. Cupp received her J.D. cum laude from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, was a Sayer Macneil Scholar, and served as Senior Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. Ms. Cupp is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Los Angeles Real Estate & Construction Industries Council.
