I enjoy using my years of experience working with startups and investors to help clients create and grow successful ventures.

Suzanne’s practice focuses on startup and later-stage emerging-growth companies, venture capital, and strategic investment. She represents clients across a variety of sectors, with an emphasis in technology and alternative energy.

Suzanne counsels companies throughout their life cycle, including entity formation, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, equity incentive compensation, and mergers and acquisitions. She also regularly advises venture capital firms, angel investors, and strategic corporate investors in connection with all stages of investment in startup companies, as well as liquidity and exit strategies.

In addition to her core corporate practice acting as outside general counsel to emerging growth entities, Suzanne has extensive experience representing limited liability companies and limited partnerships in their structuring, formation, funding, and operations. She also advises companies and investors in connection with complex merger and joint venture structuring and financing and exit alternatives.

Suzanne previously served as co-head of our Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice. Suzanne also is a former chair of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section (BLS) of the California State Bar, and a former co-chair of the Corporations Committee of the BLS.
