Tadashi Okamoto is an associate in the Capital Markets Group of the New York Office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. His practice focuses on securities and other corporate transactions. Mr. Okamoto advises issuers, investment banks and sponsors in connection with registered and unregistered offerings of equity and debt securities, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, tender and exchange offers, medium-term note programs and various other capital markets transactions. Additionally, he assists public company clients with ongoing securities law compliance requirements, including stock exchange obligations, SEC filings and corporate governance matters.

Mr. Okamoto earned his LL.M. from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as an Article Editor of Michigan Journal of International Law. He received his B.A. from The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Okamoto was an associate in the capital markets group of another global law firm in New York.
