Dr. Srinivasan received her M.S. and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Cornell University where her doctoral research focused on the role of Notch signaling in modulating inter-conversion between specific subpopulations of colon cancer stem cells via asymmetric cell division. She obtained her B.S. in bioengineering and her B.A. in molecular and cell biology: immunology, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley.
Prior to graduate school, she worked on characterizing redox signaling in cancer models using mass spectrometry at the Buck Institute for Research Aging in Novato, CA.
