Theodore Chua is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s Singapore Office. He handles a broad range of disputes, investigations, and compliance matters with particular experience in complex commercial and securities litigation, antitrust class action defense, and a variety of internal and government investigations, including by the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and stock exchanges.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Theodore was an associate in the New York office of a major international law firm.

Theodore also served as a judicial extern to Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Ronnie Abrams of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Theodore received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he was twice awarded the James Kent Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement, and was Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law, and his LL.B. from University College London, where he placed top of his class.

He is admitted to the New York bar.
