Tom Pardini focuses his practice on intellectual property matters, including patent and trade secret litigation.
Mr. Pardini has experience taking depositions, drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses for trial. He has been a member of several trial teams, including the high-profile Waymo v. Uber trial relating to autonomous vehicle technology.
Mr. Pardini received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he worked on behalf of clients in the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic and interned at Major League Baseball. Prior to law school, Mr. Pardini created online advertising campaigns as a client strategist for a San Francisco startup company. He graduated with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on American history.
Waymo LLC v. Uber Technologies Inc. (Northern District of California). Represented Uber in a widely publicized trade secrets case. Obtained a favorable settlement after four days of jury trial.
Power Integrations v. Fairchild (District of Delaware).Represented Fairchild in a bifurcated damages trial relating to semiconductor technology.
