Timothy Gallivan is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice focuses on antitrust matters, including merger investigations, international cartel litigation, and strategic counseling to manage antitrust risks. Mr. Gallivan has experience defending depositions, drafting motions and appellate briefs, and managing discovery. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the ABA Antitrust Section’s Civil Practice and Procedure Committee and previously served as Counsel to the Chair of the Antitrust Section.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Gallivan was a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Frederick J. Scullin, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. Mr. Gallivan received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from American University.
Mr. Gallivan is admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
