Tom Randall is a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group. Mr. Randall’s practice includes advising clients in matters related to intellectual property licensing, technology development, software (including traditional and Software-as-a-Service models), and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Randall was a technology transactions associate at King & Spalding LLP, where he negotiated and drafted commercial agreements, assisted with buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, and counseled clients on privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Mr. Randall earned his J.D. cum laude from George Mason University School of Law, where he served as research and technology editor for the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy and vice president of administration for the Intellectual Property Law Society. He received his B.S. in computer science from Michigan State University.
Mr. Randall is admitted to practice in the state of New York and before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He is not admitted in Virginia and supervised by principals of firm admitted to Virginia bar.
