Tony Kwok is a patent agent in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. His engineering expertise includes semiconductors and circuit design, specifically high speed embedded memory designs in finFET processes.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Kwok was a senior hardware designer at Qualcomm where he oversaw memory embedded in the Snapdragon processor, modem, and other projects involving Qualcomm products. While at Qualcomm, he submitted more than ten inventions in the area of VLSI design for patent applications. He has experience in analog/digital circuit design, characterization, EM/IR reliability, functional/formal verification, layout mask design, noise analysis, planar/3D silicon processes, silicon debug, timing analysis, and yield analysis. Mr. Kwok also gained systems engineering experience when he was responsible for the analysis and definition of the electromagnetic requirements of the F-35 program at Northrop Grumman.

Mr. Kwok received his B.S. with high honors and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
