Tyler Smith is an associate in the Financial Services Group in Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice encompasses a range of financial services regulatory and transactional matters.
Tyler advises banks, non-banks, and financial technology companies on a wide range of complex regulatory issues arising under financial services laws, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth in Lending Act, and Electronic Fund Transfer Act. Tyler’s practice also involves assisting merchants, fintech companies, banks and other financial institutions on strategic partnerships, including negotiating and structuring co-brand credit card and point-of-sale financing partnerships, marketplace lending arrangements, and asset purchases.
Tyler graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of South Florida.Show More
