Lee Johnston is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group in the San Francisco office. Mr. Johnston’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.

Mr. Johnston has advised public companies, private companies and private equity firms on a variety of public and private M&A matters, including complex cross-border transactions. He has also advised investment banks, companies and private equity firms on other matters, including investment grade and high yield securities transactions, syndicated lending and leveraged finance transactions and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Johnston was an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, where he was associate editor in chief of the South Carolina Law Review. Mr. Johnston holds an MSc, with distinction, in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
