Wendy Chu is a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group.
Wendy has experience advising technology, media, and communications companies on technology and intellectual property issues. She assists in drafting and negotiating licensing, joint venture, and outsourcing agreements. Wendy also provides diligence support for M&A transactions. She counsels nonprofits on legal matters relating to licensing, strategic technology initiatives, and social media.
Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Wendy served as a legal fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation and a research assistant for the Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Initiative at the Berkman Klein Center.
Wendy received her J.D. from Harvard Law School. She served as submissions editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. She spent her last semester teaching copyright law online as a teaching fellow for Harvard Law School’s CopyrightX program. Wendy received her B.S. in economics and political science, summa cum laude, from Northeastern University.Show More
