Wendy Mei Fong focuses her work on patent drafting and prosecution with an emphasis on cellular, molecular, and biomedical chemistry.

Prior to joining MoFo, Wendy was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University where she explored the role of Myt1-like, a transcription factor, in neuronal identity specification during mouse brain development using genetic, molecular, biochemical, and bioinformatics approaches and collaborated with professors from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium to behaviorally determine whether loss of Myt1-like led to autism spectrum disorder phenotypes.

Wendy received her B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology from the University of California, San Diego, and her Ph.D. from Columbia University in cellular, molecular, and biomedical studies.
