William E. Solis is an associate in the Corporate Department of Morrison & Foerster's San Francisco office.

Mr. Solis earned his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where he was an associate editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and received a Berkeley Center for Law and Technology Certificate. During law school, he interned for the East Bay Community Law Center in the Clean Slate practice.

Prior to law school, he worked as a senior research associate for CooperVision in Pleasanton, California, developing novel materials for contact lenses. Mr. Solis graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Biochemistry where he worked for both the general and organic chemistry labs and as an undergraduate researcher for Peter H. von Hippel, a member of the Institute of Molecular Biology.
