In the wake of the recent U.S. election, corporate leadership on climate change and sustainability is more important than ever. Corporate boards have the authority and responsibility to drive corporate performance forward in a way that addresses long term sustainability risks like climate change. Given this, a growing number of investors are focused on opportunities to build sustainability and climate competency in the boards of the companies they invest in.

Susan Mac Cormac spoke on this panel that addressed strategies that investors and companies can employ to create more informed and competent boards for sustainability and climate change, such as identifying the right expertise and diversity as well as on boarding and proper training.
