Several states have enacted or are in the process of enacting laws restricting the use of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. Eric Tate of Morrison & Foerster will appear on a panel of experienced professionals from the technology, education, and automotive industries to address key questions such as:

  • How do these laws square up with the Defend Trade Secrets Act?
  • What is a litigant’s best strategy for enforcement/defense of these restrictive agreements?
  • How does the employer/employee’s conduct impact enforcement actions?

Discovery in class and collective actions can be daunting, and the rules and requirements are constantly evolving.
