Speaking Engagement

After a stunning resurgence last year, the California Tax Policy Conference is back again! On November 6-8, your colleagues will convene in San Francisco to attend the premier California tax event. Morrison & Foerster is proud to be a platinum event sponsor at this conference, with attorneys Eric Coffill, Carley Roberts, and Paul Frankel speaking on various state tax issues. In addition, attorneys Ed Froelich and Joseph Fletcher will speak on various federal tax issues at the Annual Meeting of the California Tax Bar, a companion conference with the CTPC.

The CTPC features 12 State & Local Tax programs. The timely topics that will be discussed in the interactive programs include: special issues in apportionment and allocation, nationwide sales and use tax developments, issues affecting the high-tech industry, an in-depth look at recent California regulatory and administrative changes, the new Rules for Tax Appeals at the State Board of Equalization, California settlement trends, and coast-to-coast litigation advancements.

If you need up-to-date information on state taxation, this is a conference that cannot be missed. Attendees include corporate tax managers, attorneys, tax accountants, partners in major law and accounting firms, state tax officials (including 50 staff members from the California Franchise Tax Board and State Board of Equalization), legislators and their staff, and other tax specialists.
