Investing in Ideas
Suz Mac Cormac is joining the Investing in Ideas panel at the Financial Times Investing for Good USA 2020 Summit. This panel will highlight some of the newest investible technologies and business models focused on tackling climate change, as well as the entrepreneurs behind them. Across the world, innovative startups are coming up with new businesses that are designed to address climate change, whether through advances in sustainable agriculture or through new energy efficiency tools.
Following on from the discussions taking place at the FT Energy Transition Strategies Summit and organized in partnership with FT Moral Money, this year’s FT Investing for Good USA takes a deep look at how the investment community is taking on the climate challenge. At this virtual event, institutional investors, wealth managers, foundations, government, family offices, social entrepreneurs, and others will discuss the role capital markets can play in unleashing the financing so urgently needed if we are to recover from the COVID-19 crisis while also avoiding the worst effects of climate change.
