The Financial Markets Association is hosting its annual “Treasury and Capital Markets Legal and Legislative Issues Conference” in Washington D.C. The event serves to share information, ideas and experiences on current hot topic regulatory and legislative initiatives with banking/securities attorneys, senior compliance officers, risk managers, internal auditors and regulators where the focus is on high-level discussion of evolving banking and securities law, enforcement proceedings, financial holding company issues, securities underwriting and distribution, and public finance.
Join Partner Barbara Mendelson as she moderates the General Counsels panel on the first day of the conference. The panel, which will consist of high-ranking general counsels from government agencies such as FINRA, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the SEC, the Federal Reserve Board and the FDIC, among other organizations, will discuss key regulatory and supervisory issues and will provide updates on enforcement developments and priorities.
