The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe in conjunction with Morrison & Foerster MNP will host a programme and reception for ACC Europe members and friends.

More and more companies are “offshoring” operations. The underlying principles of outsourcing apply to onshore and offshore outsourced services alike but offshoring creates additional risks for the customer. We will discuss the main additional legal risks of offshoring including:

  • Offshore contracting structures
  • Retaining and protecting IPR
  • Guarding against leakage of data and other confidential material
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Avoiding price creep from local taxes and tariffs
  • Managing the contract at a distance
  • Dealing with offshore litigation risks
  • Dealing with TUPE liabilities

Please RSVP for this event by 8 September 2006. The programme is complimentary and will be conducted in English.
